Auditors

The external audit of the accounts is assigned by law to an independent auditing firm, which is an external control body registered in the relevant register. The independent auditing firm is appointed by the Shareholders’ Meeting on the reasoned proposal of the Board of Statutory Auditors and is instructed to:

• Verify that the company accounts are kept in order and that all the items are properly recorded and allocated in the accounts
   
• Verify the Financial Statements and Consolidated Financial Statements for the financial year give a true and fair representation of the financial position and results of operations for the year and comply with the regulations governing them
   
• Carry out the limited audit of the half-yearly reports
