Enhancing diversities
Diversity, inclusion and respect for human rights are fundamental elements of doValue’s corporate culture and ESG strategy.
doValue is committed to promoting the value of each individual and creating a work environment that is respectful, collaborative and inclusive. This translates into a constant awareness of the needs of its employees and into practical actions aimed at promoting individual and corporate well-being.
The diversity of people in doValue, who come from different backgrounds and territories, encourages the sharing of experiences, thus improving the company climate and the performance of the Group.
Diversity & Inclusion strategies overseen by the People Group function are shared and approved by the Risks, Related Party Transactions and Sustainability Committee and the Board of Directors.
Diversity Governance
The diversity of doValue’s people promotes the change and creates a competitive edge for the entire Group
The Diversity&Inclusion Committee was established in Italy in 2018 as a listening place to support people to express their potential, regardless of generation, status and the different dimensions of diversity.
The path which started locally in some Group companies has found its natural evolution in the creation of the Group Diversity&Inclusion Council, thanks to the voluntary participation of colleagues that represents different countries, business and compaby profiles, which will contribute to the development of a shared plan.
Moving forward in the roadmap of our D&I culture, today, the Group D&I Council has defined an action plan that includes a series of initiatives that aim of increasing awareness on D&I issues and nurturing a diverse & inclusive culture that supports individual and organizational growth, with special focus on Gender, Disability, Generation and Multiculturalism.
Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
doValue has always promoted gender equality and inclusivity and over the years has carried out a series of initiatives aimed at creating a strong internal balance and an open working environment that respects diversity.
The doValue Group employed is is characterized by a strong gender balance: women account for 58% of all employees, of which the 12.2% work in top and middle management positions, and men account 42%.
The attention the Group devotes to diversity and equal opportunities also finds expression in the offering of part-time work contracts, designed to ensure that the flexibility is adequate to facilitate the reconciliation of life/work schedules. As at 31 December 2022, 2.1% of employees benefit from this type of contract; of these, women represent 98.4%.
Our D&I Policy
doValue has defined a Group Diversity & Inclusion Policy that aims at promoting a corporate culture oriented towards overcoming all forms of historical-cultural discrimination and prejudice, making the workplace an inclusive environment where every type of diversity can find space and generate value.
The 6 Principles of the doValue D&I Policy:
- Respect diversity
- Value differences
- Include different abilities
- Ensure and promote equal opportunities
- Counteract any form of harassment, persecution, offense, and inappropriate behavior
- Promote awareness of so-called implicit biases
Based on these principles, doValue is committed to promoting a culture that acknowledges the value of diversity and raise awareness among all its stakeholders on the importance of social inclusion.
