doBank (Fortress): Andrea Mangoni is the new Managing Director

The Board of Directors of doBank (a company owned by funds managed by the Fortress Investment Group) has appointed Andrea Mangoni as its new Managing Director. Born in Terni in 1963, with a degree in Economics, Mangoni began his career working with the InterAmerican Development Bank and getting involved in restructuring projects in Brazil and Argentina.

In 1996 he joined Acea as Corporate Finance Manager where he coordinated the activities involved in listing the Company on the Stock exchange, which happened in 1998, and then as CFO. In 2003 he was appointed as Managing Director.

In 2009 Andrea Mangoni left ACEA to join Telecom Italia as operating Chairman of Telecom Italia Sparkle, the company responsible for managing the international network traffic, and CFO of the Telecom Group.

In 2012 he was appointed as Managing Director - Telecom Italia International Operations. While he held that position, he was responsible for sorting out the crisis within Tim Brazil and for the Company's re-launch and he was subsequently appointed as Chief Executive Officer of that company.

From June 2013 to March 2015 he was Chairman and CEO of Sorgenia (CIR Group) and managed the process of financial restructuring of that company.

Until November 2015 he held the post of Managing Director of Fincantieri.
